How I Save My Coins

Lately, I have been getting a lot of inquires about saving money. Although, I’m not a financial advisor or anything near that, I figured I would just share some tips that have helped me keep more of my money.

Sometimes saving money can be a tedious task and sometimes we just over think the process of saving. If you want to pay off debt, go on more vacations, invest more, or whatever. I have a few solutions that can help you reach your goals and do the things that you desire.

Instead of Using Plastic, Use Cash. I learned this genius idea from taking Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University. A lot of times we spend money because we aren’t actually seeing the money leave out of our hands. But if you have cash on hand, you are more likely to keep your money, because you see it. I know it may seem weird, but trust me it works! So, do your monthly budget and then draw the money out, and place it in envelops

Online Shopping Clubs. I recently got introduced to this amazing shipping club that offers a ton of free products, major savings, cash back options, and even referral incentives. So, not only can you save money, but you can earn money as well! Which is a double win. If you are interested in the specific club that I use, then just click here for more info and I will send you the link.

Download Apps For Savings. I like to use certain apps that will give you cash back for the money you spend. There are so many out there! I use the Dosh app that searches all available coupons, promo codes, and rebates and gives you cash back automatically from thousands of restaurants and retail stores.

Thrifting and used items. You don’t always have to get things brand new or at a retailed price. I will often go to a local thrift store and find some really affordable, but chic items (The pic to the right is an example of what I got while thrifting). Not only is this more affordable, but can be very fun finding things! Also, you can use apps such as PoshMark.

Staying Home More. I know for me a bulk of my money spent was from going out. Tell your girlfriends to come over and chill, instead of always hanging out. This idea can also be helpful when it comes to dates fellas ;-) . Check out these cute at home dates here.

Take Your Lunch To Work. Instead of always ordering out or going out with colleagues, try bringing your lunch. Not only will this save you coins, but it usually is a healthier option. Again, a double win!

Hopefully, these tips can help you save a little more and get on track to saving more. If you would like more tips, just let me know below.
